full stopThat’s the full stop at the end of the first draft of the new book.

I feel…

Amazing.

Lots of work still to do. It’s not ready for anyone actually to read yet or anything. But still.

Congratulations! As PP Arnold once said, the first draft is the deepest (or words to that effect). I’m looking forward to it…

Congratulations, Nick – that must be a relief. Will it be in the shops for Christmas, then? R

Congratulations dear, though I don’t begrudge you the many edits. Many many. (All right, yes, I am in fact cackling in glee and pointing at my monitor. People are looking at me funnily.)

Congratulations, Nick! What a special moment :) Do you have a little (or big?) ritual for when you’ve reached such a milestone?

    YAY!!!

I know there’s still work to do and waiting to…er…wait. But, story!

I and all my book reading friends cannot wait to see what you come up with next.

    Congratulations!

P.S. Rather aptly, the recaptcha thing says babbling this time…sorry :oD

(Great trick! I just did the same on my novel – now I just need most of the 100,000 words prior to that particular punctuation mark…)

    Congrats, Nick. Can’t wait!
