Foz - did I mention cave-diving somewhere, or have you just by happy chance hit on the one thing on Earth I am less likely to do than leap from a plane?

Jeanne - like it! Yes, great. Keep 'em coming!

James - mebbe - I think the point is to combine ideas at the end of the process, create a harmony out of dissonance. But yeah, probably, those guys are at least as Cloudsourcy as I'm being...

Would Design by Humans or springleap.com be examples of crowdsourcing?

Did you see the marketing campaign for the Batman movie The Dark Knight that consisted of renting billboards, putting up posters, and selling lapel buttons that said "I believe in Harvey Dent"? He's a fictional character! My 15-year-old daughter actually purchased one of the buttons at a US chain store called Hot Topic.

I think some kind of similar ad campaign for Gonzo Lubitsch would help confuse people about where the real world ends and the fictional world begins, always fun.

A group of my virtual friends have begun introducing each other, when we meet in real life, as "imaginary friends."

You could always embark on a secretive campaign of posting bizarre, scavenger-hunt-like posters around your neighbourhood, bearing strange, poetic, crytpic inscriptions. Or become fixated with Merlin. Ooh! Or, you could buy lots of weird little cheap fantasy figurines, like the kind one buys at a two dollar shop when one is a twelve-year-old girl with a dragon fixation, and leave them in odd but visible places, like public bathrooms. Or learn to cave-dive.
